Small details, lasting effects

The difference between usable and delightful is frequently measured in tiny adjustments.

A line of text that wraps cleanly. A label placed close enough to its input. A transition that ends before it becomes noticeable. The decisions that make a product feel well considered are not always the ones we can name.

A sense of rhythm

Consistent spacing creates a pace for the eye. A heading announces a new idea, a margin marks a pause and a repeated visual pattern makes a page easier to navigate.

These observations are reminders to pay attention to what has become familiar. Ordinary details deserve careful thinking.
